Seattle/King County Clinic brings together healthcare organizations, civic agencies, non-profits, private businesses and volunteers from across the State of Washington to produce a giant free health clinic in KeyArena at Seattle Center. The four-day volunteer-driven clinic provides a full range of free dental, vision and medical care to underserved and vulnerable populations in the region.
The patients that our team encountered at the SKCC were so extremely appreciative. Their words of thanks were loud and clear, no matter what language was actually being spoken. Many patients gave us hugs and let us know how much they appreciated all our hard work that they witnessed while waiting to be seen.
Project Access is a volunteer program to help the uninsured receive proper medical attention. Dr. Lee has volunteered with Project Access for the past 10+ years.
She specifically sees patients on the kidney transplant list that do not have the resources to take care of their dental needs. Because each patient on the list must be taken care of prior to clearance for a transplant, she prioritizes their well-being and oral health above anything else.
